PWM Loss Prevention Services Inc. (“PWM”) is a wholly owned company that operates in Alberta with the head office located in Calgary. In addition, PWM has branch offices located in Edmonton and Medicine Hat. PWM was established in 2005 as a response to the need for high quality security services within the Calgary market. Since its inception in 2005, PWM is one of the fastest growing full service security firms in Alberta and prides itself on providing services that exceed clients’ expectations each and every time. PWM offers a full suite of security services from the provision of security guards, mobile patrol, loss prevention services, investigative services, CCTV implementation services, special events security services and security assistance provided to labour disputes. PWM is a client driven organization and our main objective is to provide our present and future clients with security professionals that will meet the security requirements of our clients. Our clients know that PWM is a “one stop shop” for all their security service needs. PWM has extensive experience in providing security services to large public environments such as the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede, Calgary Telus Convention Center, Calgary Housing Corporation and Chinook Mall for numerous years. Currently, PWM is registered with the Alberta Construction Safety Association to obtain a Certificate of Recognition to complete our Health and Safety Program we currently have in place. We have our own Corporate Health and Safety Officer who is an “Alberta Certified Peer Health & Safety Auditor” and can conduct peer audits for Alberta Construction Safety Association member companies. PWM is also a member of the “Building Owners and Management Association”, “Chamber of Commerce”, “ASIS”, “The Loss Prevention Foundation” and “Southern Alberta Shopping Centre Association (SASCA)”. PWM is also a Corporate Member of the Alberta Association of Private Investigators. PWM complies with all requirements of those federal, provincial, municipal or other governmental bodies, agencies, tribunals or authorities having jurisdiction and lawfully empowered to make and/or impose laws, by-laws, rules, orders or regulations with respect to our obligations within this RFP, including the following: • Workers’ Compensation Act • Labour Act • Alberta Occupational Safety and Health Act, Regulations and Code • Health Act • Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act • Security Services and Investigators Act.
