Airport Pre Board Screening Officer

Duties are but not limited to the following:

Ø Perform security checks of passengers and luggage using X-ray and metal detection devices
Ø Meet and greet passengers in a friendly, firm, and fair manner
Ø Enforce regulations of establishments, resolve conflict situations, write reports
Ø Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed

Requirements:

Ø Must be a resident of Canada for a minimum of 5 years
Ø High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Ø Must be 18 yrs +
Ø Obtain a Transport Canada Security Clearance
Ø Candidates must be available to work during days, evenings, nights, including weekends
Ø Candidates must have strong clear command for the English language (both written and spoken)
Ø Possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to handle stress well

Other:

Ø Bilingualism (English/French) an asset
Ø Experience in the security field an asset
Ø Criminal record check (Abstract)
Ø Basic Medical exam

Terms of Employment:

v This is a permanent full time position
v Shift work
v Medical, Dental benefits, paid parking, uniform provided
v $5000.00 1 year retention Bonus
