| Retail Manager /Mens Clothing ga.za.ba milano is the newest men's clothing store in Down Town Calgary. We are currently seeking a talented, motivated and experienced Sales Manager to run our Calgary location. The potential candidate MUST have at least 2 years retail management experience. Duties include, but are not limited to: Managing and training staff, scheduling, sales. We offer competitive compensation, perks and benefits. This is a permanent fulltime position. Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Evening Anticipated Start Date: 2010/10/1 Salary: $40,000.00 Yearly, for 42-44 Hours per week, Commission, & medical Benefits. Skill Requirements: Education: Completion of high school, Some college,vocational or technical training Experience: Minimum 2 years in a men's clothing store Work Setting: Men's clothing store Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Point of sale system, Electronic mail, General office equipment, Internet competency Staff Responsibility: 1 - 6 Specific Skills: Plan, direct and evaluate daily operations, Manage staff and assign duties, Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales, Perform cash deposits, Balance daily transactions, Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, Determine staffing requirements, Recruit and train staff, Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters, Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages, Customer service oriented Security and Safety: Basic security clearance Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, unpacking and stacking of merchandise. Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation. Ability to Supervise: 6 people or less | |
