Event Operations Coordinator

Responsibilities:
•Planning, logistics and implementation of Canadian Outback Events
•On site coordination, preparing and hosting of events
•Budgeting and expense management
•Liaison with suppliers and clients
•Supervise and evaluate staff
•Organization and maintenance of event equipment and supplies
The qualified applicant will possess:
•Exceptional communication skills and public speaking experience (mandatory)
•An out-going people oriented personality
•Extraordinary attention to detail
•Problem solving skills
•Previous event/program planning experience
•Ability to work from home (with 15kms of downtown Calgary)
•Access to own vehicle
•Valid Class 5 drivers license
•Flexible lifestyle and schedule and the ability to adapt to various work environments
•Past supervisory or managerial experience
•Team building experience
•Computer skills in all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher)
