Job Summary Responsible for the settlement of claims through the exchange of information by telephone and for applying cost saving guidelines without compromising the delivery of superior customer service. Job Responsibilities Responsible for taking FNOL information for all incoming claims including Commercial auto policies as a result of receiving a telephone call, fax, or email from an insured, their representative or from third parties. Responsible for the thorough investigation of all claims which includes but is not limited to contacts insureds, third parties and witnesses. Review policy, appraisal, witness and make decision on liability - value of claim and negotiate/settle accordingly. Responsible to identify coverage issues and subrogation opportunities and respond accordingly. Collect Accident Benefit/Bodily Injury information when required. Process inquiry call. Responsible for providing exemplary customer service and to inform insureds, third parties, brokers on claims status. Responsible for accurate data, issuance of payments to vendors, assured, third parties, lawyers and other insurance companies. Maintains accurate reserves which reflect the Probable Ultimate Value of our financial exposure and report as required. Correspond with third parties, insureds, brokers, lawyers and individual or company who may have an interest in the claim settlement. Experience/Skills Required 3-5 Years Auto PD Experience in Customer Service. Must have a desire to out our Customer First and the service skills to match. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Good Negotiation Skills. Able to work shifts between 8 am to 6 pm MST. Experience/Skills Preferred Experience in Customer Service. Excellent Telephone Skills. Negotiation Skills. Call Centre Experience. Bilingual Minimum Education requirement Secondary School Actively working towards CIP Preferred level of Education is CIP or equivalent | |
