| Marketing & Sales Coordinator Job Purpose: This newly-created role will serve as a general assistant to the Marketing Manager and the Sales Team. It will require creative collaboration, managing timelines and priorities, and taking on ad hoc projects as delegated. While this is a junior role, your business acumen is senior, and you are professional, forward-thinking, and manageable. Duties: • Customer Leads: Follow up, distribute, track, prepare mailings, handling of enquiries, and preparing sales packages. • Sales Tracking: Prepare monthly commission reports for each sales person. • RFP: Review RFP Boards for new opportunities, assist in RFP document preparations, mailing/couriering • Marketing Support: Assist in ordering any marketing materials, maintain inventories and distribute to field offices, organization of tradeshows and booths/special events/sponsorships, and assist in proofing, filing, and tracking dates for upcoming publication deadlines for ad space. • Filing & Correspondence: Write/ proof sales and marketing materials, solicit quotes for translation, prepare and mail all investor relations packages, filing hard/soft copies. • Miscellaneous: Assist COO, CFO, and Marketing Manager, special projects as assigned. • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications. • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Skills/Qualifications: • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) - Intermediate • Ability to create and work with pivot tables – Intermediate • Experience with Adobe CS would be an asset, though not required. • Business diploma from Technical College, Microsoft Office Training • Clean Criminal Record Behavioural Competencies: • Mature, responsible, cooperative nature, ability to maintain confidentiality, able to prioritize & multi-task, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, professional appearance, excellent communication skills, flexible. | |
