| System Solutions Engineer Job Description Local Sales Engineering support for Western Canada required to support numerous Western Canada opportunities and programs. Support sales in building customer relationships and show we have local technical presence. Familiarize potential customers with Harris offerings at a technical level, respond to customers technical questions, obtain first-hand knowledge of customer needs and demonstrate Harris solutions. Develop and design radio system solutions from a choice of Harris product lines, to satisfy customer-specified requirements while maximizing profitability and minimizing risks to Harris. systems involve Harris equipment and often include microwave, data and/or custom design peripheral subsystems. Provide proposal text and drawings that effectively describe the system solution being offered. Participate in discussions and presentations with customers, consultants, vendors and other Harris personnel as necessary to advance projects, performing site visits, and presentations to customer. coordinate technical transition of design to implementation system engineer after contract is awarded. Qualifications Engineering degree from an accredited University or Registered Professional Engineer and 5+ years of technical experience in telecommunications systems design or related field. | |
