| Project Managers PROJECT MANAGERS Summary: Our client is an Alberta-based High Voltage Electrical Engineering company that specializes in substation engineering. Professional services include project consulting and management, design engineering, and procurement of materials associated with electrical facilities. To support the rapid growth of the company, our client is currently looking for Project Managers. The successful candidates will work as part of a project- oriented technical team to manage safety, cost, quality, and schedule on projects for clients within the utility, power generation and oil and gas industries. Responsibilities: • Manage multiple projects simultaneously; ranging from $10k to $5M in value • Manage overall safety, cost, quality and schedule to meet the project objectives. • Lead cross-functional teams • Reporting project status and financial performance to senior management and external clients • Proactively identify and mitigate risks on projects • Liaise with customers to resolve project issues Qualifications: • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technical Diploma; eligible for registration with APEGGA or ASET • Minimum three (3) years of direct related experience; preference will be given to those with electrical utility experience • Experience in project cost control and managing project schedules • EPC experience is an asset • Possess strong written and oral communication. • Demonstrated strong leadership skills and ability to resolve project issues • Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
