| Senior C++ software Engineer Our client is seeking a senior C++ software (possible lead) engineer to work on the next generation of their industry leading corporate commercial software products. They are looking for programming skills in developing Windows and Linux (asset) based applications. WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU? Great opportunity to stretch these highly marketable soft skills - Work alongside a very smart and driven team - Hands-on design while still being able to take on leadership responsibilities - Leverage our direct relationship with they key hiring managers You will be responsible for working with a solid proven team of engineers in developing new features and maintaining existing software programs designed using C++. You will provide work estimates, create designs, develop code modules, integrate software, and perform code reviews We are looking for developers with an eye for innovation. We encourage new ideas that can improve the product. Requirements: - 8+ years programming experience. Very strong intermediate developers would be considered as well - 5+ years Windows programming in C/C++. Unix experience would be a strong asset as well - .Net/C# experience would be a strong asset as well but they key is C++ - Strong background in OO design and programming - Strong Database skills would be an asset - Experience with network programming - Experience with commercial software applications is a big plus - Excellent written and verbal communication skills We offer a highly competitive compensation package with generous benefits Relocation assistance available for the right candidate.
