| Bilingual French Technical Support Agent Guest-Tek is the world’s largest provider of IP based technology solutions for the hospitality industry. We are a preferred vendor to major hotel brands, providing services including network design, procurement, implementation, and post sales customer support to over 3,280 properties and 472,000 rooms. Our head office is in Calgary, Alberta, and we have major support facilities in Irvine, California, and Warsaw, Poland as well as Sales offices located throughout North America and Europe. Currently we have an opening for a: Bilingual French Technical Support Agent Responsibilities: * Must be Fluent in English French as a second language * Respond to incoming technical calls from hotel guests and staff in an efficient, courteous and knowledgeable manner * Troubleshoot guest connections from both the hotel network side as well as the PC side * Complete resolution of technical issues including the assurance that escalated cases are addressed * Follow up with guests regarding open cases * Monitor and maintain servers and switches remotely * Technical projects work * Contribute to the Help Desk Knowledge Base * Maintain knowledge of new software versions and technologies * Work in a team environment Requirements: * Must be Fluent in English with Spanish or French as a second language * Knowledge of networking and network equipment * Proficient in Linux, Win95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP and Mac operating systems * Excellent customer service skills * Available to cover shifts supporting a 7/24 operation * Familiarity with internet applications including e-mail and VPN’s an asset * Working of knowledge of laptop hardware an asset * Unfortunately we are not taking English Speaking Only Applicants at this time.
