| Event Sales Representative We are seeking outgoing, positive, passionate and energetic individuals for the role of an Event Sales Representative. If you have an outgoing personality, like to talk with people and have a passion for consumer electronics and technology, then this position is for you. The Event Sales Representative (ESR) is a part-time position designed to increase client product sales and brand awareness in national consumer retail chains. The primary responsibility of an ESR is to perform product demonstrations in assigned retail locations in his/her local area. They are also responsible for providing consumers and staff with product and brand information. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Account relationship building · Build strong professional relationships with in-store personnel. · Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times Sales · Work in partnership with store personnel and Territory Sales Manager to maximize store sales and in-store presence. · Qualify store customers by asking probing questions to determine customer’s needs. · Initiate and promote client’s products and services during assigned events. · Perform in-store product demonstrations Merchandising · Install merchandising materials including product, POP, signage, and supplies as requested or needed. · Ensure product is demo ready. Check power, refill paper and ink, and ensure proper functioning. Customer Service · Conduct product training to floor sales staff during the course of scheduled events. · Gain and maintain a sound knowledge of all products by attending mandatory monthly trainings. Administrative · Complete call reports (on-line) the day of the event to account for shift time and product demonstrations statistics. · Check Internet and e-mail on a daily basis for assignments, instructions, and information. Job Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS: · Positive energetic self starter · Outgoing sales focused personality · 1-2 years customer service/sales experience in a retail or hospitality environment · Ability to work independently or as part of a dynamic team · Ability to work evenings and weekends · Excellent written and oral communication skills with a flair for making presentations · Daily access to the internet and reliable transportation is required · Knowledge of computers, computer accessories and consumer electronics is an asset but not required · Provide superior customer service, utilizing problem solving skills · Make every interaction with a consumer a positive customer experience. Increase visibility and value in an HP products and services. | |
