JOB DESCRIPTION: Systems Administrator, Information Systems and Technology

Supervised By: Chief Financial Officer

Position Profile:
•This role encompasses accountability for the security and integrity of corporate electronic data, hardware and software.
•This is a service function that operates under the objective of ensuring network and remote clients have reliable and timely access to electronic information and are provided with appropriate hardware and software configurations to optimize productivity. This includes providing extended hours as required for system changes/upgrades and after hours support. This also involves district office support, which may require travel within North America.

General Responsibilities:
•Ensure data integrity through backup, archiving, and restoring files.
•Administration of Exchange.
•Installation and support of Citrix infrastructure.
•Installation and support of application software.
•Installation and support of LAN and WAN equipment.
•Installation and support of servers, hardware, and software.
•Acquisition of all new software, hardware, and peripheral devices.
•Project management for implementations of various hardware and software solutions.
•Administration of network, application security and software licenses.
•Administration and maintenance of SQL Server.
•Provide support for Help Desk issues.
•Administration and support for phone system and all cellular equipment.


Qualifications:

•Post secondary degree
•2+ years of related IT work experience.
•Business work experience to include working knowledge of database architecture, accounting systems, web site maintenance, security and technology infrastructure.
•Good technical knowledge of network and computer systems.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels of employees, business partners, internal clients and applications developers.
•Strong organization, analytical and problem solving skills.
•Excellent project planning skills; ability to effectively plan, organize, track and execute projects of varying complexity, delivering them within specified timeframes and budgets.
