| Piping Engineer The Piping Engineer may be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: • Ensuring adequate flexibility in critical piping systems. • Definition of Stress Analysis scope of supply. • Development of piping specifications (customize / company Standard). • Perform Stress analysis using renowned computer software (i.e Caesar 11). • Technical co-ordination with all disciplines related to engineering effort. • Prepare material requisitions for piping commodities and piping mechanical specialty items. • Preparation of RFQ, Bid evaluations & coordination with vendors. • Interface with Materials Controls system, to ensure commodity purchase. • Participation in Design Reviews. • Verification of client specifications and requirements. • Preparation of all associated lists, i.e. Specialty items, Piping tie-ins etc. • Maintain material / valve description database up-to-date. • Develops / maintains standard specification sheets for engineered items. • Update of line list and provide necessary input to line list. Education and Experience Required: • Bachelors or Diploma in a related discipline is preferred. • 5 years experience in a similar role. | |
