QHSSE Communications Coordinator

To assist Weatherford Canada’s Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (QHSSE) group to communicate the value proposition of their services with the ultimate aim of supporting the region business’ growth through safety, efficiency and quality.

Duties/Responsibilities
Work with QHSSE personnel to develop positioning and messaging related to QHSSE related information and to provide the right background material or content for collateral.
Analyze and trend health and safety data in order to support the development of QHSSE initiatives.
Support business development group via the provision of QHSSE statistics and information for pre-qualifications, bids and tenders.
Professional creation and maintenance of Weatherford Canada profiles in several safety registries as required by customers (includes statistics and QHSSE program content).
Adheres to and upholds departmental policies, processes, procedures, and practices.
Performs various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Skills/Knowledge
Superior writing skills and detail oriented.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to research and gather information.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and on multiple projects.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Starter/finisher: can manage projects from conception to end.
Ability to follow established processes and participate effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to build and sustain coalitions/working relationships with other people in the department and within the company.
Has the ability to thrive in sometimes complex organizational structures.

Required:
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum of 1 to 2 years of corporate communications, marketing writing, or agency experience, preferably with some oilfield experience.

Preferred:
Knowledge of QHSSE processes
Oil-and-gas industry experience
