Esthetician Elements Spa is a luxury day spa, with a destination spa atmosphere where clients can feel relaxed, rejuvenated and at home. We are currently seeking a highly motivated licensed Esthetician who loves working with the public to join our team. Job Location: Okotoks, AB Position Type: Full-time or Part-time, Permanent Description Overview: As an Esthetician you will be responsible for performing various spa treatments, which may include facials, body treatments, manicures, pedicures, waxing, medi-facial treatments and endermologie. This position requires someone very self motivated and ambitious to grow their clientele and our business. As a member of our team, keeping the spa tidy and ensuring that you provide exceptional customer care and ensuring that all clients have a 5-star spa experience is of primary importance. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: •Functional expertise – highly knowledgeable on luxury spa standards, service expectations, treatments, and typical client expectations. •Detail oriented – care and attention to fine details in a multi-tasking environment. •Knowledgeable about the retail marketing of spa/esthetic products. •Demonstrated knowledge of all apparatus in a spa. •Strong knowledge of current trends in beauty industry. •Personal appearance is chic and professional and reflects one’s personal style. •Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, pressured environment. •Excellent time management and organizational skills. •An enthusiastic and ambitious, self-starter who is comfortable and confident networking and actively reaching out to prospective customers to build client base. •Demonstrated problem solving skills, with an ability to efficiently and effectively resolve customer issues. •Excellent customer relations abilities, sensitive to individual client needs and proven ability to build strong client relationships. •Positive outgoing personality that thrives in and enjoys a supportive team focused atmosphere. •A strong focus on promoting products and services to enhance the client experience. •Ability to demonstrate a friendly, diplomatic and professional approach. •Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. •Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and effectively handle difficult situations. •Ability to experiment and learn new ideas and techniques. •Demonstrated commitment to updating and upgrading technical skills with an ability to learn quickly. •Commitment to working a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings as may be required. •Having an established, loyal clientele looking for a new higher level spa experience is an asset. Experience, Training and Education: •Certified esthetician with minimum 2 years experience. •Graduate from an accredited school of Esthetics. •Current industry/spa related experience, an asset. •Previous experience with laser hair removal and medi-skin care treatments is an asset.
